Fishing in Leitrim

Leitrim and the North West of Ireland is renowned for its lakes, rivers and canals. At McGuire's Cottages we have been catering for both individual fishermen and large fishing groups for over 20 years and so we know and understand your needs.


Our cottages are located at Acres Lake shore, Drumshambo, and have on site, fully equipped angling facilities. With over 25 lakes in a five mile radius, all choices of fishing and sea angling are catered for. We feel it is very important that people are briefed on arrival and shown the fishing areas that are fishing best at that specific time of year. With the River Shannon, Lough Allen, Lough Scur, Lough Bran, Acres Lakes all in the local area, we have no problems in catering for whatever your fishing preference may be.

For Anglers who wish to just worry about catching fish we offer full board packages i.e. accommodation, breakfast and three course evening meal that are catered to your tastes!

There is also a launderette and bait room on site. So whether you are a pike, trout, perch, tench, eel, river, canal, lake, sea, boat or coarse fisherman, we will ensure that you are well informed and shown all you need to know to make your holiday enjoyable.
